As I seat here thinking of how to write what I want, I must admit that remembering Walt Disney World already makes me so excited!
Before I begin, I would like to quickly tell you how Disney became such a huge part of me and some members of my family. My grandfather, Walter use to absolutely LOVE going to Walt Disney World, he would grab any and every opportunity he had to go there. I can never forget how excited he was to go on the attractions, but just the mild ones. He was always talking about going back, didn't matter how long it had been since he had been there or how many times he had visited the parks. So my first time visiting the parks myself was when I was only 3, and if you think a child that young can't also enjoy them, you are so wrong! I was so happy going to the attractions, and of course, meeting the characters I already loved so much! As I grew, we went a couple more times...
Now, as an adult, I have been back there and must say, I still love it and everyone that gets a chance, should go, no matter their age! Thank you, grandpa, for showing me how in your late 70s you still felt so good going there!
Now that you have gotten a glimpse of how my own story with this magical place began, we can finally move on.
People like my grandpa, my bestfriend and I are somewhat connected to Disney through our experiences there, which is amazing, but if you don't, don't worry, there are a thousand ways for you to understand what we are talking about and enjoy it like crazy! Here we go!
- There are attractions for all age and they are awesome!!
Honestly, doesn't matter what kind of attraction you are into, they have them for everyone!
If you like shows, there a few different ones... Thrill rides? The Twilight Zone tower of terror and Aerosmith roller coaster are meant for you. 4D movies? They have got it! If you just love to watch animals, you can even go on a safari!
If you are afraid of most of them, there are super calm rides too!
If you love speeding, you can go on Test Track and if you want to feel like you are in space, Mission Space can do that!
If you want to feel like you are flying in a whole different world, don't miss Avatar Flight of Passage! Trust me, I could go on and on forever, but you already got my point...
And of course, if you love the characters, you can go on a meet ang greet!
- Delicious Food
Walt Disney World parks and Disney Springs have lots of restaurants serving amazing food and from all over the world, here are some examples: you can eat asian, american, african, french, mexican, german, italian, chinese, norwegian, british, mediterranian and more! You can pick through tons of options!
Can't forget about the amazing sweets too.
- Amazing cocktails
If alcohol is your thing, rest assured, Disney's got your back! Choose from different types of margaritas, like traditional, limoncello, avocado, horchata, strawberries and more! Not a margarita person? No problem, they have cocktails with sake, vodka, blue curacao, rum, whisky... the list goes on, some of them are: Snake Alley, Takodana Quencher, Bumblebee, Frozen Kirin, Khumbu Icefall, Violet Sake, Lamu Libation.
Just think about it, you could do a drink tasting while having fun! Just be carefull with the ammount of alcohol you ingest lol.
- Best Fireworks shows ever!
I love fireworks so much, there is just something amazing about them, how they blow up and light up the sky in beautiful shades and colors!
Every night parks offer their visitors a show that goes beyond that, with lighting effects, music and stories that can truly move people.
- Go back to being a child
As grown ups, we know how stressful life can be and sometimes, we just miss how easy things were when we were children and wish we could go back, even if just for a moment.
Well, Disney can do that to you, while you visit the parks, you are able to forget about the world and have so much fun, just like you used to. Good times are guaranteed!
