15 Restaurants you need to visit in São Paulo, Brazil

São Paulo is one of the best cities in the world to eat. It has tons of restaurants with cuisines from all around the world and in this post, I am going to present to you 15 that I really believe are worth the visit.

SKYE

This restaurant is in the rooftop of a great hotel (Unique) and has one of the best views of the city. In my opinion, the view itself is worth the visit, but they have some really delicious food as well.

As expected in a hotel, the culinary is international and you can choose from a range of good plates.

OGURU

If you like japanese food, this restaurant is for you. They are an all-you-can-eat with a large variety of fish and ways to eat it! You can choose to go with raw fish, which is the mais focus of the restaurant or to go with some grilled or fried food as well.

ALMANARA

This is an arabic restaurant with a variety of kibeh, esfiha, arabic rices and so much more.

TERRAÇO ITÁLIA

This place also qualifies mainly for it's view. It is also in a rooftop, in one of the tallest buildings in the city centre. Translating, it's name is Italian terrace and that is exactly what it is, so obviously, the culinary is italian.

POBRE JUAN

This argentinian restaurant is famous for it's "parrilla", that is a way that meats are made in the grill. If you really like meat, they have lots of choices, but don't worry if your partner is doesn't, they also serve chicken and fish.

CRISTAL

Honestly, pizza in Brazil is different from anything I have ever tried around the world, and in my opinion, it is better! This restaurant have tons of topping choices and you can choose if you want a pizza to share or just for yourself. The crust is very crunchy and so good!

POKE HAUS

Poke, for those in doubt, is a hawaiian bowl, typically made with rice, raw fish and other toppins. This one has some great options and you can also choose to "make your owl bowl", by choosing what you want to put in it.

COCO BAMBU

This restantaurant has a HUGE variety of plates. Their main focus is shrimp, but there are also meat, chicken, fish and a lot more plates to choose from. It is guaranteed that no matter how hard it is to go to a restaurant where everyone likes something on the menu, this one is going to please even the hardest of eaters.

AMA.ZO

This peruvian restaurant is such a pleasent place to sit at. As in all peruvians, ceviche is their thing, but they also serve a large variety of food, always prepared according to the cuisine.

ADEGA SANTIAGO

This restaurant has food typical both from Spain and Portugal. If you like iberic food, this one will not disappoint. They have cod, octopus, squid, duck, beef and so on.

MYK

This greek, charming restaurant looks like you are entering a place in Santorini, whith the white walls and island-like decoration. The food is really good and they have a good variety of food.

SI SENOR

This tex-mex (blend of mexican and texan food) keeps it's promise to serve you good food within the theme. The restaurants always look fun, with mexican skulls and cactus and the food is really good! Their burritos and tacos are always a great choice.

BOLINHA

Have you heard of feijuada? This is a typical plate of the brazilian cuisine, made with beans and meat, which you eat with rice, some people also eat it with cabbage, farofa (a brazilian food wonder lol), bacon, orange and a few more things. This restaurant has been a reference for years for those who are looking for a place to eat a good feijuada.

NIT

This is a tapas bar, tapas are a style of serving food, in small portions, so you order different kinds of food, to try all of them. In this restaurant, the focus are the tapas, but there are options (very little) of regular-size plates to order.

MANÍ

Maní is a very well-known brazilian restaurant that has a Michelin star. Their focus is to serve fresh ingredients in amazing plates, that have tecnique and yet, an incredible flavor. They use mostly brazilian ingredients and present a very national cuisine.

So, what did you think of these restaurants? Have you eve been to one of them?
